25 May 2010 To, Subject: Summer Training & Welcome to MBA Semester - III My Dear Student The year 2009 – 10 has been eventful for all of us – Students, Staff, Faculty Members, Local Management Committee Members, Board of Trustees, Donors and Myself. 1. Today is the first anniversary of our AICTE Permission dated 25/05/2009. Thanks to AICTE, Donors and SMJV Alumni’s that we could start MBA Program within a record time of less than 1 year inclusive of Building construction period. 2. Our Institute came in the list of Top Ten out of 104 MBA Institute in the state of Gujarat under GTU in terms of MBA Semester 1 results. Thanks to our Students, Faculties and Staff Members who facilitated the transition from a “New Institute” to “Top 10 in Gujarat”. 3. We organized a number of Seminars / Conferences / Workshops / Guest Lectures inviting Leaders from Industries and Academia to address our students. 4. We also become 1st new MBA Institute to organize Faculty Development Program (FDP) with the help of UGC & AICTE recognized Professor emeritus. The FDP was attended by senior Faculty Members including Directors from various MBA Institutes. 5. We signed 2 collaborations: The time has come to expose you to the practical aspects of Management and enable you to develop your Skills through SUMMER TRAINING during 1st June – 17th July 2010. Our Faculties have prepared special Guidelines for Summer Training as enclosed. Please put in your efforts with sincerity and total commitment during Summer Training so as to gain maximum Knowledge and build your network with Industry Managers and Entrepreneurs. Please report to the Institute on 26th July 2010 at 8.30 am alongwith 2 copies of your Summer Training Report incorporating a Certificate from the concerned Industry / Organization. The Report must also be signed by the student and the Director of CKSVIM and submitted to the Admin Office latest by 24th July 2010.
