Placement Policy – One Student, One Job Offer

The Placement Cell of CKSVIM strictly follows the “One Student, One Job Offer” policy. Students may participate in placement processes, as per eligibility criteria, until a job offer is secured. Once an offer is accepted, it is final and binding, and the student will not be permitted to participate in further placement activities. Any violation of this policy may invite appropriate action to protect the institute’s professional standing.

Corporate Pr-Placement Briefings

  • Notices regarding Pre-Placement Talks will be displayed on the institute notice board and/or communicated by the Training and Placement Office (TPO) through email or other official channels.
  • Students are required to be present at the venue at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the Pre-Placement Talk.
  • Attendance at the Pre-Placement Talk is mandatory for students interested in participating in the recruitment process of the respective company.
  • Students are expected to review the company profile in advance and seek clarifications related to job role, salary structure, work location, bond conditions, and other relevant details during the session.

Placement Rules & Student Responsibilities

  • Students must regularly check Placement Office notices for updates, shortlisted lists, and announcements, and report on time as instructed.

  • Late entry is not permitted for any stage of the selection process, including aptitude tests, GDs, or interviews.

  • Students who apply and are shortlisted must complete the entire selection process unless rejected by the company. Voluntary withdrawal will result in disqualification from placements for the academic year.

  • Students are expected to maintain discipline and ethical conduct at all times. Any misconduct or action that harms the institute’s reputation will lead to disqualification from placements for the academic year.

  • Any form of cheating or misbehavior during PPTs, tests, GDs, or interviews will result in immediate disqualification from further placement activities.

Roles & Responsibilities of officer

  • Invites companies and industries to participate in campus recruitment drives.

  • Prepares and shares the final-year student database with recruiters as per eligibility criteria, along with a mutually convenient interview schedule.

  • Coordinates with company representatives to finalize campus drive dates.

  • Organizes regular soft skills and employability enhancement sessions for students.

  • Maintains and regularly updates the student placement database.

  • Arranges venues, infrastructure, and required resources for smooth conduct of campus drives.

  • Forms and leads a placement team comprising faculty members and student coordinators.

  • Ensures that no company involving any financial obligation is invited for campus recruitment.

  • Collects and records offer letters submitted by students within one month of joining.

  • Student Eligibility & Code of Conduct
  • Final year students who have shown interest/registered for placement activities are only eligible to participate in the placement activities if He/She meets the requirements/eligibility criteria specified by the Company as well as TPO.
  • Campus placement is a facility provided for the students of CKSVIM. Registration is not compulsory at all. Students not interested in placements are requested not to register for placements.
  • Only registered students are allowed to appear in campus recruitment process. Students must be formally attired in College Dress Code whenever they participate in any Placement Activity in campus or off campus.
  • Students must bring their identity cards with them and follow proper dresscode as deemfit whenever they go through a placement process in campus or off campus.
  • Direct communication of students with the company officials is not allowed.
  • Instructions for Students
  • Students will be debarred /blacklisted from the placement if he/she is found involved in any indisciplinary activity or engaged in malpractices practices during their course of study/Program.
  • Any eligible student who has not participated in 2 consecutive recruitment drives without prior approval of TPO.
  • Students giving wrong data/information in TPO, He/She will be debarred/blacklisted from the placement activities for the rest of the academic year.
  • Students cannot Withdraw from selection process once he/she has been shortlisted for further rounds after Aptitude Test, GD etc. A disciplinary action will be taken against defaulter student/s.
  • Any kind of misbehavior/complaints reported by the company officials/faculty/staff/volunteers will be taken seriously & those evolve will be debarred/ blacklisted from future campus placements.
